Osteopathy is a different kind of medicine that Andrew Taylor has developed during the 19th century in the United States. From his knowledge in physics, mechanics, anatomy and physiology results a manual and medicine which take into account the mechanical dimension of the human body. The idea is that to be healthy, the body must move.

___To relieve his patient, the osteopath only uses his hands. He examines his patient in his totality in order to find the origin of the symptoms.

___Osteopathy is a treatment method which is used to determine and treat restrictions of mobility that can affect the entire structures that make up the human body. Every loss of mobility of the muscles, ligaments or viscera can cause disequilibrium of the state of health. Osteopathy is based on the ability of the body to be self-balancing and on an extensive knowledge of anatomy.
